Job summary

A fintech company based in New York is seeking a VP / Director of Product – Merchant Integration. The successful candidate will own the product strategy for integrating merchants with embedded financing solutions. Key responsibilities include defining the integration vision, designing MVPs, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance merchant onboarding experiences. The role requires extensive product management experience in fintech and the ability to work effectively with Sales and Engineering teams. This position does not offer Visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product management within fintech, payments, lending, or embedded finance.
• 5+ years owning integration-heavy products such as APIs, platforms, or merchant-facing solutions.
• Strong understanding of merchant checkout, POS, or platform-based commerce workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for merchant and platform integrations across embedded financing offerings.
• Design integration solutions across multiple channels including hosted checkout, APIs, SDKs.
• Partner closely with Sales and Engineering to support merchant evaluations.
