Job summary

Hoxton Circle is seeking a Vice President of Portfolio Monitoring to own analytics and reporting infrastructure for a broad portfolio of operating assets. You’ll drive forecasting, performance analysis, and visibility for the investment team, from high-level returns to detailed cash flow analysis.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with a strong financial/analytical foundation.
• Background in investment banking, private equity portfolio analytics/ FP&A, or corporate FP&A.
• Advanced financial modeling skills and fluency across granular and big-picture analyses.
• Strong forecasting, cash flow, variance analysis, and investment performance knowledge.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to senior investment professionals.
• Ability to identify problems and articulate them clearly without owning final decisions.
• Low ego, collaborative, and capable of building structure in a new function.

Responsibilities

• Own financial analysis, forecasting and performance reporting for a significant portfolio of operating assets.
• Build reporting that gives the investment team visibility into performance from high-level returns to detailed cash flow analysis.
• Track actual performance against investment cases and forecasts, identifying variances and drivers.
• Develop models and analytics to explain asset and portfolio performance.
• Surface issues early and provide insights to guide next steps for the investment team.
• Create a structured reporting cadence, replacing ad hoc work by investment professionals.
• Lead recurring performance discussions and present clear, decision-useful analysis to senior members.
• Collaborate with Finance, Partners, and the investment team while maintaining separation between performance analysis and investment decisions.
• Help define and grow a new analytics function aligned with portfolio growth.
