Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a VP of Research to lead Scale Labs and SPRL, guiding frontier AI evaluation, data science, safety, and policy research. The role blends cutting‑edge research with real‑world ML impact and builds a world‑class research organization focused on safe, scalable AI systems.

You will translate science into production‑ready solutions, collaborate with GTM, delivery, engineering and customers, and drive strategic initiatives across the ML research program.

• Make tradeoffs across technical and business dimensions with data-driven insight.
• Represent ML Research in headcount, budget, and strategy planning.
