Job summary

AAPIP is a justice-minded national affinity group that centers equity in philanthropy to move money and build power for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, and allies.

The Vice President of Membership Programs will design and lead member-centered programs, supervise a small team, and manage a $3 million annual budget while partnering with the President & CEO to advance AAPIP’s evolving strategic framework and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience guiding member-centered programs in philanthropy or non-profits.
• Strong diplomatic and facilitation skills with track record in program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and evaluate membership programs aligned with strategy.
• Develop and sustain program initiatives centering AA and NH/PI communities.
• Listen to membership and partner across the organization to drive impact.
• Oversee a $3M budget and supervise 2–4 direct reports.
• Mentor staff and promote professional development with diplomacy and integrity.
