Job summary

Helpside is seeking a player-coach marketing leader to build and lead the marketing function from the ground up. Reporting to the COO, the VP of Marketing will partner with sales and operations to develop and execute our go-to-market strategy while building a high-performing team across product marketing, customer marketing/referrals, and demand generation.

The role requires 8–12+ years in B2B marketing for SMB buyers, strategic GTM planning, and a hands-on approach to campaigns.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in B2B marketing focused on SMB buyers.
• Experience with go-to-market strategies tailored to different segments is expected.
• Ability to measure marketing performance with metrics tied to revenue.
• Hands-on leader who writes copy, builds campaigns and drives execution.

Responsibilities

• Build a scalable demand engine across state and vertical marketing programs.
• Accelerate broker channel growth with enablement, collateral, and co-marketing.
• Lead customer marketing and referrals, including advocacy and NPS-driven outreach.
