To lead the marketing account leads team, directly manage client projects to drive revenue growth, and oversee all clients’ growth strategies to generate revenue while maintaining high labor efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding client needs to develop revenue-generating strategies, tech stacks, and omnichannel tactics
  • Coaching and managing the marketing account leads team to ensure client success
  • Leading growth-focused projects with strategy, leadership, technical expertise, client communication, and revenue focus
  • Establishing goals and metrics for clear scope and objectives
  • Managing resource allocation and project hours
  • Reviewing team work for accuracy, providing feedback and coaching
  • Ensuring projects are on budget and profitable
  • Keeping projects within scope and appropriately scoped/scaled as new projects
  • Meeting with clients regularly to provide strategic leadership
  • Accurately scoping and estimating new projects for profitability
  • Scheduling teams and projects in advance to support sales planning
  • Conducting weekly coaching and one-on-one meetings with team members
  • Reporting on and analyzing project performance to exceed client expectations

Required skills, talents, and experiences:

  • 10+ years in consulting, agency, or similar roles managing complex programs
  • Deep experience with Customer Data Platforms (Segment preferred), Event-Driven Analytics (Amplitude, Mixpanel), and Marketing Automation (Autopilot, Pardot, Marketo)
  • Service-oriented with a professional, positive customer experience focus
  • Results-driven leadership with a strong execution mindset
  • Data-driven with proven use of metrics and insights for decision-making
  • Proactive planning skills, managing resources within scope and timelines
  • High attention to detail and quality in products, websites, and design
  • Strong communication skills, able to speak authoritatively and listen effectively
  • Curious and inquisitive, asking clarifying questions to ensure alignment
  • Ability to explain complex technical challenges clearly to clients

Indicators of success in this role include:

  • Leading client growth and optimization strategies with a 6-month roadmap
  • Securing client approval for case studies/testimonials at key milestones
  • Achieving 90% of client objectives within project timelines
  • Retaining 80% of clients in recurring contracts quarterly
  • Achieving a labor efficiency ratio of 3.0+ on projects
  • Expanding project scope/revenue in 50% of cases within three months
  • Managing team time and planning effectively to avoid overdue tasks

Job Description:

As VP of Marketing and Client Services, you will lead the growth services team, serve as a client advocate, and act as a strategic advisor, quarterback, and leader for the marketing account leads.

Your role involves understanding client needs, developing strategies, and collaborating with our team to execute projects efficiently and effectively.

You should have robust experience in growth marketing and funnel optimization, with a human-centered approach. You will work with clients from the final stages of deal closure, helping sales with estimates and scopes, and then leading or delegating account work.

Leading client accounts requires detailed note-taking, building growth strategies, and managing day-to-day marketing activities across tools, channels, and analytics.

While managing high-profile accounts, your primary focus is leading the marketing account leads team to success through feedback, coaching, and results-oriented management. You must communicate work scope and progress clearly to clients, work collaboratively to solve problems, and manage resources within budget constraints.

This role is a key point of contact for growth-focused clients, supporting their projects with strategy, scheduling, planning, and scoping, and leading the team and internal sales efforts.
