Job description

We are looking for a talentedVP of Growth - Content Marketing to drive customer acquisition by building a scalable content engine from the ground up.We are an AI-powered strength training application in the health and fitness industry, dedicated to improving quality of life through strength training.

100% Remote, preferably West Coast, MST, or CST based

Job Duties:

  • Build and scale a repeatable content engine across owned and unowned channels (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Email Newsletter, influencer partnerships).
  • Develop and execute a content strategy to grow a "Reachable Audience" of potential customers.
  • Partner with the co-founder to create a scalable content playbook through an iterative 0-1 process.
  • Drive an iterative content and channel testing process to generate actionable insights and identify resonant content for our Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Convert content impressions into engaged followers and product customers, guiding users through cross-channel journeys.
  • Leverage influencers and partners to create compelling content and access new audiences, with a focus on non-paid partnerships.
  • Create demand generation content that highlights the fitness problems our product solves.
  • Utilize proprietary company data to develop differentiated and unique content.

Ideal Background:

  • 10+ years of experience in content, social, and influencer marketing, with a proven track record of building scalable content strategies from scratch.
  • Demonstrated experience operating in high-ambiguity, 0-1 environments, including defining goals, identifying channels, launching MVP content, and evolving strategies.
  • Strong working knowledge of key platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, including native content development and distribution mechanics.
  • Proficiency in leveraging both long-form and short-form video content, including re-editing for various distribution methods (short-form video, SEO, Podcast, Email newsletter).
  • Experience leveraging agencies or internal creative teams for content creation.
  • Working knowledge of Email Newsletters, Podcasts, SEO, and AEO.
  • Intuitive creative taste and strong customer empathy to generate compelling content hypotheses and provide creative guidance.
  • Located in US time zones (preferably Pacific or Central).
  • Experience in the health, wellness, or fitness industry.
