Job summary

The Blackhawk Group seeks a strategic VP of Finance and Business Management to lead the Proprietary Engine Upgrades segment. You will influence profitability, capital investment, and program performance, partnering with executive leadership to translate data into decisively actionable insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics required; MBA/CPA/CMA a plus.
7+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, cost accounting, or business management experience preferred.
Experience in aerospace, defense, or similarly complex engineered-products environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for the business segment.
Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership to improve profitability and growth.
Oversee month-end/year-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs with Corporate FP&A.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and program management to improve margins.
Support pricing strategy, contract reviews, and governance across the enterprise.
Drive continuous process improvement and systems maturity within finance operations.
