Kansas Health Science University in Wichita, Kansas seeks an experienced financial leader to support growth, sustainability, and strategic priorities. The selected candidate may assume Vice President of Finance and Administration or Director of Finance with scope defined by qualifications and needs.

The role reports to the President/CEO and collaborates with System and shared‑services teams to advance institutional financial planning and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible experience in finance, budgeting, or analysis.
• Experience developing budgets, forecasts, financial models, and executive reports.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with institutional leadership and shared‑services teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead annual budgeting, multi‑year forecasting, and financial planning.
• Develop models, projections, and business cases for programs and operations.
• Monitor performance, analyze variances, and advise leadership.
• Coordinate with System Financial Affairs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide executive reporting and strategic financial guidance to the Board.
