Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior engineering leader to oversee software, data, AI/ML, and platform engineering. You will shape cloud-native architectures, drive modernization, and implement IaC standards to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes across teams.

Qualifications

8+ years in Data, Software, and Product Development with at least 4 years in senior engineering leadership.
Experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure with multi-cloud architecture.
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
Strong ability to translate business requirements into engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

Own the full engineering organization spanning software, data, AI/ML, solutions architecture, product, design, QA, and insights operations.
Define and evolve the technical architecture across cloud-native and lakehouse patterns.
Lead modernization efforts to retire and replace legacy applications.
Champion Infrastructure-as-Code practices and platform engineering standards.
Hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
Partner with operations and business leadership to translate ambiguous business requirements into engineering initiatives.
Own engineering delivery health.
