Job summary

HarbourVest Partners seeks a Vice President of Investment Data and Analytics to design, build, and operate modern cloud data platforms at scale, including batch and near real-time processing. You will mentor senior engineers and lead a high-performing team delivering data and analytics platforms end-to-end in production.

You will work with investors and quantitative researchers, shaping architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data quality, while aligning with investment workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Master of Science in Computer Science preferred.
• 10+ years of data engineering and software delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Data engineering — build systems around financial datasets with modern data stacks.
• Infrastructure/platform engineering — create reliable systems for investment workflows.
• Data quality — standardize investment data sets for consumption.
• Team building — mentor and scale a high-performing engineering and product organization.
