Job summary

State Street is seeking a Cryptography Engineer, Vice President to lead the design, engineering, automation, and operation of enterprise cryptographic services in our Global Cybersecurity organization. You will drive PKI platforms, certificate lifecycle, and key management across the enterprise from Quincy, MA.

You will partner with application, infrastructure, cloud, security, and architecture teams to deliver secure cryptographic services that meet regulatory and operational needs, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Info Sec or related field.
• 7+ years in Cybersecurity, Cryptography, PKI, or Security Engineering.
• 5+ years designing and operating enterprise PKI and certificate management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate enterprise PKI platforms and CA services.
• Manage lifecycle of digital certificates including issuance, renewal, revocation, monitoring, and discovery.
• Lead automation technologies for certificate management (ACME, EST, SCEP, API-based).
• Design and maintain enterprise key management and cryptographic controls.
• Onboard systems to enterprise PKI and certificate management services.
• Engineer code signing, SSH certificates, workload identities, and m2m authentication.
• Migrate from legacy certificates to enterprise-standard platforms.
• Develop automation to improve efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
• Support cloud cryptography integrations (Azure, AWS).
• Participate in security architecture reviews to ensure standards.
