We seek an exceptional communications leader to join our fast-growing team in New York, focusing on crisis communications, client leadership, and strategic guidance across industries.

The VP role requires four days in the office per week and offers a base salary of $150,000–$190,000 with a performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in political or corporate communications, or journalism.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, multi-project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to meet tight deadlines.
• Deep interest in NYC and national media landscape.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multimedia client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement strategic communications programs for clients across industries.
• Lead multiple accounts and manage significant client relationships.
• Collaborate with legal teams and advisors for integrated guidance.
• Draft strategic communications plans and media materials.
• Manage production of deliverables: press releases, memos, talking points, op-eds.
• Maintain reporter relationships and engage with top-tier media; act as spokesperson.
• Generate creative ideas to secure earned media coverage.
• Build and mentor teams and oversee work products.
