Job summary

Acumatica is seeking a dynamic VP of Communications to drive public relations, analyst relations, and corporate communications, advancing brand and business goals. This full-time position reports to the CMO in Bellevue, WA.

You will lead media relationships, analyst engagement, and executive communications, shaping Acumatica's narrative across media, events, and social channels while balancing AI-assisted content with human oversight.

Qualifications

• Strategic thinker: Build messaging and positioning strategy for the company, including key differentiation and value propositions.
• Results-oriented: Self-starter with excellent multi-tasking skills. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable: Strong project management capabilities to drive multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
• Experienced: Minimum of 15+ years relevant communications experience. Previous experience with a B2B software companypreferred.
• BS degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute earned-media strategy encompassing corporate and product news, customer success, executive thought leadership, and storytelling.
• Manage analyst relations: briefings, inquiries, evaluations, research submissions, and product demonstrations.
• Strengthen brand visibility, credibility, and market reputation through strategic programs.
• Own and evolve Acumatica’s corporate narrative, messaging framework, and priority storylines.
• Lead executive communications including speeches, presentations, and thought leadership pieces.
• Oversee social media strategies and cross-platform engagement.
• Establish editorial standards and ensure high-quality content across channels.
• Manage communications program budget and vendor relationships.
