Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 15+ years in relevant roles; 10+ years in management.
  • Experienced leading national accounts and cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall strategy, executive relationship, and business performance agenda for a strategic national account.
  • Lead revenue growth, market share expansion, profitability improvement, and category leadership initiatives across the account.
  • Develop and execute multi-year growth strategies that strengthen customer partnerships, expand market share, and improve financial performance.
  • Serve as Mohawk’s primary executive leader for the account, driving strategic alignment, executive engagement, issue resolution, and long-term growth.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product Development, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Analytics, eCommerce, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and field organizations to deliver seamless execution.
  • Own executive customer engagement, including top-to-top meetings, business reviews, joint business planning, strategic roadmaps, and growth initiatives.
  • Lead category, assortment, merchandising, pricing, promotional, and innovation strategies that support customer objectives while maximizing enterprise profitability.
  • Oversee major product reviews, line resets, launches, and conversion initiatives, ensuring disciplined planning, execution, and performance management.
  • Direct pricing, investment, margin, inventory, and revenue optimization decisions to balance growth, profitability, and customer competitiveness.
  • Leverage customer, market, POS, inventory, financial, and competitive insights to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations involving agreements, contracts, service expectations, investments, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing account team, fostering accountability, talent development, collaboration, and a results-driven culture.
  • Establish governance frameworks, operating rhythms, performance scorecards, and accountability measures to ensure disciplined execution across strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to influence company priorities related to category growth, innovation, customer experience, service levels, and channel strategy.
  • Ensure strong customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership success while protecting Mohawk’s strategic, financial, and operational interests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Need

The VP National Accounts is a senior enterprise leader responsible for the strategy, growth, profitability, and overall performance of a strategic national account. This role leads executive customer engagement and aligns cross-functional resources across sales, channel management, product development, marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, eCommerce, and customer service to drive profitable growth and execution excellence. What You Have
