VP & Liquidity and Funding Manager - Profitability

Location: Multiple Locations, including Wheeling, Ohio, and other US locations. This position is 100% remote within the Bank's footprint, with occasional in-person meetings.

Market: Wheeling

Work Hours per Week: 37.5

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a quantitative discipline.
  • At least 7 years of experience in ALM, Treasury, Liquidity, and Funding in a bank.
  • Preferably 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
Job Description

Summary: The Liquidity and Funding Manager oversees the bank's liquidity activities and team, analyzing key financial metrics, and collaborating with management and various teams to support strategies and initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain liquidity and funding policies, standards, and contingency plans.
  2. Document business processes, risk management procedures, and governance frameworks.
  3. Measure and report liquidity metrics for ALCO, the Board, and regulators.
  4. Lead liquidity stress testing, scenario design, and response documentation.
  5. Analyze daily liquidity positions and provide insights for risk management.
  6. Contribute to wholesale funding strategy and diversify funding sources.
  7. Manage collateral use, oversee funding programs, and engage with external providers.
  8. Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards like LCR and NSFR.
  9. Respond to regulatory requests and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize liquidity.
  10. Assist in preparing ALCO reports and interest rate risk documentation.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Conduct hiring, training, performance assessments, and discipline in accordance with policies and laws.

Technical Skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Knowledge of asset liability management software such as FIS BancWare is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with data visualization capabilities.
Other Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with regulatory interactions and presenting to senior management.
  • Familiarity with balance sheet management and interest rate impacts.
