Job summary

Lincoln Financial in Greensboro, NC is seeking a VP, Life Affiliate & Complex Reinsurance to lead affiliate and complex reinsurance strategy across the Life business. You will align product, pricing, finance, valuation and technology to maximize business value and govern reinsurance programs enterprise-wide.

You will drive scalable infrastructure, analytics and reporting while guiding senior leaders through complex transactions and regulatory considerations in a changing market.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of finance experience aligned to role responsibilities.
• 5+ years in senior management within a large complex organization.
• Deep knowledge of life insurance, reinsurance structures and governance.
• Ability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives across functions.

Responsibilities

• Defines and advances the affiliate reinsurance strategy across the Life business.
• Leads cross-functional initiatives with Product, Pricing, Valuation, Accounting, Finance, Administration, and Technology.
• Advises senior leaders on complex affiliate and external reinsurance transactions.
• Evaluates reinsurance deal performance, settlements, and treaty provisions.
• Establishes governance frameworks for reinsurance administration and reporting.
• Directs scalable reinsurance infrastructure, data and monitoring capabilities.
• Anticipates regulatory and market challenges and develops solutions.
• Owners knowledge management and cross-functional alignment for reinsurance.
