Qualifications

• 10+ years of medical strategy experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading medical strategy for pharmaceutical brands and lifecycle planning.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing medical strategy teams.
• Executive-level client leadership with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Advanced scientific degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication with scientific storytelling.
• Comfort with using AI as part of work processes.
• Experience supporting agency new business pitches and RFPs.
• Expertise in oncology, immunology, rare disease, neuroscience, cardiovascular, or specialty medicine.
• Experience collaborating with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Strategy, and Creative.
• Experience leading product launch strategy and lifecycle planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical strategy across multiple pharmaceutical brands by translating clinical evidence into actionable brand strategies and client recommendations.
• Partner with Client Services, Strategy, Creative, and Medical Communications to develop scientifically rigorous materials and omnichannel content.
• Provide scientific leadership through area expertise, competitive analyses, and cross‑functional education.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Medical Strategists with mentoring and performance feedback.
• Drive business growth by strengthening senior client relationships and contributing to new business opportunities.
