Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from a U.S. accredited institution.
• 15+ years of post-J.D. experience in life sciences or top-tier law firm.
• Experience advising and negotiating complex BD, collaboration, or licensing agreements.
• Experience serving on senior management teams and advising boards on legal matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, communication and analytical skills with ownership.
• Ability to lead in a startup-like, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entirety of the legal function for RayzeBio and report to the BMS Law Department.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, contracts and IP issues.
• Oversee negotiations of clinical trial, licensing, collaboration and confidentiality agreements.
• Develop relationships with functional leads and external partners to support business objectives.
• Advise senior leadership and boards on legal and compliance matters and risk mitigation.
