Coleman Nourian seeks a VP of Legal in the Philadelphia Western Suburbs with 12+ years of legal leadership to run the company’s legal function and advise the CEO. The role demands proven experience in complex commercial contracting and in-house leadership.

You will lead contracting, build a comprehensive compliance program, collaborate with the acquisitions and HR teams, and manage outside counsel while guiding project risk and claims defense. This is a senior on-site role.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of legal experience with in-house exposure.
• Experience leading complex commercial contracting, design and construction contracting, and professional liability issues.
• Experience managing lawyers and directing outside counsel.

Leading professional services firm seeks a lawyer with 12+ years to lead the legal function. This candidate must have complex commercial contracting, have been in- house, ideally from a large engineering, architectural, or professional services business, and managed lawyers. A working knowledge of professional liability, design and construction contracting, claims- made insurance , indemnification, duty-to-defend issues, and project risk allocation is strongly preferred. This person will lead the contracting process, develop a compliance program, work with the company’s acquisition team and HR, and direct and manage outside counsel. This lawyer will be part of senior management, and report and be the primary legal advisor to the CEO. No relocation assistance is available for this position.
