Job summary

Blue Owl is seeking a Vice President to join the Legal team to lead the firm’s Legal Entity Management function in New York. The role owns the entity governance framework and works closely with senior leaders to design processes and ensure accurate tracking in GEMS.

The successful candidate will support entity management across internal and external stakeholders, including Compliance, Tax, Finance, and Legal, with a focus on SOX controls and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of relevant legal entity management experience or related advisory/audit background.
• Proficiency in Excel and large data handling; familiarity with data governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce data governance standards and source-of-truth for entity data.
• Design and maintain auditable entity lifecycle workflows including formations, amendments, approvals, dissolutions.
• Oversee entity data in GEMS and related systems; monitor for data quality and completeness.
