Job summary

The Equity Group, a strategic investor relations firm and subsidiary of Ruder Finn, seeks a Vice President to lead IR programs for a portfolio of clients in the New York metro area. You will collaborate with senior client management, draft earnings materials, and craft investor presentations to enhance stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of investor relations experience with public companies or IR firms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Strong finance understanding and knowledge of capital markets.
• Excellent writing ability for earnings releases, scripts, and memos.
• Experience interfacing with CEOs and CFOs.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal skills; team-oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic IR programs for a group of clients.
• Build relationships with clients’ senior management and key stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of clients’ businesses, financials, and markets.
• Draft and edit earnings releases, conference call scripts, and Q&A memos.
• Create investor presentations, factsheets, and IR website content.
• Engage with current investors and analysts; arrange meetings.
• Introduce client stories to new investors to build awareness.
• Provide counsel to client management and manage IR plans and calendars.
• Supervise team members and report activities to clients.
