Auricoe Limited is seeking a high‑calibre VP, Investment Operations in New York to own a broad range of investment and portfolio activities. You will work closely with investment professionals, Finance and senior stakeholders to manage operations across the life cycle of alternative investments and funds.

You will lead liquidity management, allocations and closings, while improving processes, controls and technology to support a growing US platform and new investment strategies.

Competenze

• Strong experience in Investment Operations, Fund/Portfolio Management or related function.
• Good understanding of lifecycle of alternative investments from allocation to ongoing portfolio management.
• Experience with liquidity management, investment closings and fund reporting.
• Exposure to NAVs, fund accounting and collaboration with Finance or third‑party fund administrators.
• Knowledge of credit facilities, drawdowns and covenant monitoring is valuable.

Auricoe is partnering with a leading international private markets investment platform to appoint a Vice President, Investment Operations to its growing New York business.

This is a highly visible opportunity to join an investment organisation at an exciting stage of its US development. With new investment strategies being launched in the US, the successful individual will play an important role in supporting the build-out of the platform, working closely with investment professionals, Finance and senior stakeholders.

Sitting at the intersection of investment activity, portfolio management and fund operations, the role requires someone who understands how an alternative investment platform operates beyond pure accounting or finance.

The Role

The VP, Investment Operations will take ownership of a broad range of investment and portfolio-related activities, including:

• Supporting the operational execution of investments from portfolio allocation through to investment closing
• Monitoring portfolio and fund liquidity, cash requirements and investment activity
• Coordinating investment closing logistics across internal teams and external counterparties
• Supporting portfolio construction and allocation processes
• Monitoring and managing credit facilities, including drawdowns, reporting requirements and covenant compliance
• Reviewing NAV and fund reporting, working closely with Fund Accounting and resolving issues or discrepancies
• Producing investment, portfolio and fund analysis for senior stakeholders
• Supporting investor and investment-related reporting requirements
• Working closely with investment professionals on the ongoing operational requirements of portfolios and funds
• Helping establish and enhance processes, controls, systems and technology as the US platform and its investment strategies continue to develop

What We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in individuals who have developed their careers within private markets, alternative asset management, investment management or a sophisticated institutional investment environment.

You are likely to bring:

• Strong experience within Investment Operations, Fund/Portfolio Management, Portfolio Operations or a closely related function
• Good understanding of the lifecycle of alternative investments, from allocation and closing through to ongoing portfolio management
• Experience of liquidity management, investment closings and portfolio/fund reporting
• Exposure to NAVs, fund accounting and working with Finance and/or third-party fund administrators
• Knowledge of credit facilities, drawdowns and covenant monitoring would be particularly valuable
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and investment information
• Confidence working directly with senior investment professionals and other stakeholders
• A hands‑on mentality – this is a senior position, but one where the successful individual will remain close to the detail
• The ability to operate effectively in a growing and evolving environment, helping build processes rather than simply inheriting them
