Job summary

KBR seeks a strategic Vice President, Internal Audit to lead Mission Technology Solutions’ internal audit as it moves toward independence. Reporting to the CFO, the VP will design and execute risk-based audit plans, strengthen SOX compliance, and coordinate with external auditors.

The role requires extensive public-company governance experience, collaboration with senior leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement of controls and processes to support a standalone corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• CPA/CIA or other professional designation preferred.
• 15+ years in internal/ external audit, accounting, finance or governance functions.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing audit programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide risk-based internal audit strategy.
• Lead SOX compliance program and ICFR governance.
• Oversee financial, operational, and compliance audits.
