First Financial Bank is seeking a VP Audit Project Manager I in Fort Worth, Texas to lead and execute internal audits across banking functions. You will develop audit programs, assess controls, liaise with regulators, and supervise the audit team, delivering high-quality findings and risk mitigation.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, five years of audit experience in financial institutions, and the ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple engagements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in a related role at regulated financial institution or Big Four.
• Knowledge of financial institution regulatory environment.
• CPA, CIA or similar preferred.
• Previous Finance, Credit, Banking Product, Trust, Operations audit experience
• Understanding of risks and internal controls and ability to evaluate adequacy and efficiency of controls.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality deliverables within deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement and innovation in audit tools and techniques.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute the Internal Audit Program in accordance with internal controls, standards, and laws.
• Test internal controls to identify violations of laws or regulatory deviations.
• Liaise with auditors and regulators and plan engagements.
• Review quality of outsourced or co-sourced audits including workpapers.
• Prepare audit reports, including opinions and issues.
• Analyze findings and propose risk-mitigating solutions.
• Monitor progress of audit issues' resolutions and validate implementations.
• Collaborate with management and business units on key initiatives.
• Apply data analytics within audits when possible.
• Supervise audit engagements to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Partner with line-of-business managers to address emerging issues.
• Perform semi-annual risk assessments.
