Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Data Scientist in Plano, TX to help shape a data-enabled future for audit. You will lead the refinement and prototyping of advanced analytics ideas to strengthen assurance and deliver clearer insights.

You will partner with audit stakeholders to turn promising ideas into development-ready prototypes, guiding concepts from problem framing through feasibility assessment and proof-of-concept development, then handing off to a product owner.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills across stakeholder groups.
Advanced knowledge of machine learning methods, deep learning frameworks, and natural language processing techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess feasibility and translate ideas into prototypes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
Experience managing multiple initiatives concurrently, including use of Agile delivery practices.
Hands-on proficiency in data analysis and visualization.
Strong documentation discipline to produce development-ready artifacts and decision materials.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and develop new analytics ideas aligned with audit priorities.
Facilitate stakeholder sessions to refine problem statements and shared needs.
Define expected benefits and gather empirical evidence to support proposals.
Present findings and recommendations to decision-makers for Go/No-Go decisions.
Lead feasibility work: environment setup, data acquisition, prototyping and iteration.
Produce clear documentation and hand-off artifacts to product owner for downstream delivery.
Promote collaboration, critical thinking, and experimentation across data governance and approvals.
