Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Plano, TX is seeking a Data Scientist to shape a data-enabled future for audit. You will lead refinement and prototyping of analytics ideas, partnering with audit stakeholders to turn concepts into development-ready prototypes and guiding feasibility from framing through PoC to hand-off.

You will work with global colleagues to apply advanced ML, DL, and NLP techniques, and support teams in adopting innovative testing of controls.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop new analytics ideas aligned with audit priorities and goals.
• Facilitate stakeholder sessions to refine problem statements and shared understanding.
• Define expected benefits and gather empirical evidence to support proposals.
• Present findings and recommendations to decision-makers for Go/No-Go decisions.
• Lead feasibility work: environment setup, data acquisition, prototyping, results review.
• Produce clear documentation and hand-off artifacts to the product owner for delivery.
• Promote collaboration, critical thinking, and data governance understanding across teams.
