Job summary

Georgia Baptist Children’s Homes and Family Ministries seeks a Vice President of Institutional Advancement to design and deploy a unified advancement strategy spanning principal and major gifts, church and denominational relationships, corporate partnerships, and brand strategy.

Reporting to the President/CEO, the incoming VP will lead two teams—Resource Development and Brand & Marketing—while unifying them around shared priorities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive nonprofit fundraising and executive leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead principal and major gifts program across Georgia.
• Set strategic priorities for fundraising, marketing, communications, and church relations.
• Build relationships with churches, Baptist associations, and business leaders.
• Advise the President/CEO on philanthropy and external relationships.
• Ensure donor stewardship with integrity and financial accountability.
