MatrixCare is seeking a visionary Vice President of Information Security to lead our enterprise security program, safeguarding protected health information across our healthcare software platforms. You will set strategy, manage regulatory obligations, incidents, and risk, and partner with executives to elevate security across product, cloud, and infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in information security, including 4+ years leading a security team or function with full program accountability.
• Experience protecting health information in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, or ISO 27001).
• Proven ability to author policy, stand up processes, and implement tooling with minimal preexisting program.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA Security Rule, HITECH, breach notification, and SOC 2 criteria.
• Cloud security depth in AWS including IAM, KMS, networks, logging, and posture management.
• Experience managing vendors and a security budget; effective communication with executives.

Aufgaben

• Own the information security strategy and annual roadmap aligned to business and regulatory obligations.
• Maintain security policy set, standards, procedures, and mapping to frameworks.
• Manage enterprise security risk register and drive remediation to closure with owners.
• Lead HIPAA Security Rule program, risk analysis, and supporting documentation for audits.
• Maintain SOC 2 Type II attestation and advise on HITRUST and NIST alignments as needed.
• Oversee incident response, including acting as incident commander for major events.
• Run vulnerability management and penetration testing with defined SLAs and reporting.
• Oversee identity and access management, including privileged access and MFA.
• Embed security in the software development lifecycle, including threat modeling.
• Define security requirements for AI capabilities and data governance with Legal.
