Job summary

VHC Health is seeking an Associate Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer to lead the organization’s information security strategy and program. This executive will safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive health data while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years in information security with 5+ years in leadership, and possess relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead information security strategy and program for the organization.
• Safeguard confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive health data.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, NIST and other healthcare regulations.
• Manage security incidents and response efforts; drive risk management program.
• Communicate security posture and risks to stakeholders at all levels.
