Position Overview: This Vice President of Human Resources will be a strategic leader with broad HR expertise, overseeing HR functions across multiple locations, and reporting to the President of Prospiant & D.S. Brown with a dotted line to the Gibraltar CHRO.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Develop and implement workforce strategies aligned with business goals.
  2. Partner with leadership on talent acquisition, performance management, training, development, and succession planning.
  3. Coach for performance, support organizational design, and manage change communications.
  4. Utilize employee feedback to drive improvement initiatives.
  5. Manage and develop a team of HR professionals across locations.
  6. Handle employee concerns, investigations, and disciplinary recommendations.
  7. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across jurisdictions.
  8. Analyze talent metrics and advise leadership on improvements.
  9. Contribute to enterprise-wide HR initiatives and participate in due diligence projects.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications:

  1. At least 15 years of HR experience, with 5+ years in the US industrial sector, manufacturing or construction experience preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years managing HR teams.
  3. Experience with payroll management is a plus.
  4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  6. Proficiency in US employment law; Canadian law experience is a plus.
