Job summary

EVgo is seeking a Hardware Product Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware products for our fast charging network. You will translate strategy into roadmaps, drive cross-functional execution with engineering, design, and operations, and ensure reliability, safety, and cost targets across chargers, firmware, and site equipment.

You will lead lifecycle management, set success metrics, and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver differentiated charging experiences for drivers, site

Qualifications

• Extensive experience: 18+ years with Bachelor's, or 15 with Master's, or 10 with PhD, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, CS, PM or related field; MBA preferred.
• Experience in EV charging, renewable energy, or networked hardware.
• Strong product development, governance, testing, interoperability, and launch readiness.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term hardware product strategy and roadmap for EVgo chargers and site equipment.
• Own requirements reflecting customer needs, field insights, and regulatory input.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Operations to define hardware and firmware specs.
• Drive alignment on priorities, investments, and launch readiness across teams.
