VP OF SALES
The Vice President of Sales leads the company’s growth strategy by driving revenue, expanding market share, and strengthening relationships in the aviation ground handling market. This position reports to the SVP of Business Development and is responsible for executing key growth strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and execute strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and solidify its presence in the aviation ground handling market using current network connections and expansion through generation of leads
- Support of the sales organization, including scaling to size, performance management
- Develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to achieve financial targets
- Develop and reach annual sales budget requirements/goals and strategically investing in opportune areas for growth
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers at the senior management level, ensuring successful start-ups based on contract and customer expectations
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure efficient operation of the sales team
- Collaborate with marketing and product development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales
- Actively participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts to the executive management team
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches via collaboration with sales team
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and services
- Address customer satisfaction issues promptly to maintain the company’s reputation for excellent service
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- At least 7 years of Ground Handling and Ramp Operations experience
- Demonstrated at least 5 years of successful Business Development in airline industry
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to apply logic and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Demonstrate the following competencies: Problem-Solving, Customer Service, Interpersonal, Oral Communication
- Ability and willingness to travel more than 50% as need
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Carry out other duties as assigned
- Physical activity may include:
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more.
- Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

Salary: $150,000 -$175,000
The pay rate listed on this post is what the company reasonably expects to pay for this position. However, individual compensation may vary based on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, education, and experience.
