Position Overview

The General Manager for our Contract Sales practice will be primarily responsible for the client impact, profitability, and growth of inside sales and field sales outsourcing; business is today roughly $160M in revenues. The GM will have a leadership role to maintain and grow the business revenue, diversify the client base and service methods, and drive analytic-enablement innovations and efficiencies that expand margins and enhance our Healthcare Provider (HCP) Activation capabilities.

In addition to standard GM responsibilities for financial and team management, sales & marketing strategies, the role is client-facing, focusing on building transformative client partnerships to improve their key business levers. It also involves market-facing activities, such as collaborating with third parties to enhance our value proposition and impact. The GM will shape and lead the analytic-enablement strategy of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive top-line sales and revenue, aiming for a plan of $162.6M and TCV of $212.5M.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and revenue in the short and long term across segments.
  • Oversee targeting prioritization and execution.
  • Manage sales & marketing strategies across account segments and throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Partner with other Centers of Excellence and Business lines to enhance cross-portfolio offerings including data, analytics, digital, brand, and technology.
  • Incorporate analytics to support therapy expertise and delivery strategies.
  • Create new offerings to maintain industry leadership and adapt to industry changes.
  • Demonstrate leadership in client presentations to improve win rates.
  • Ensure delivery success and high client satisfaction.
Profitability and Practice Management
  • Manage expenses and drive profit growth.
  • Support clients through recruiting, training, and project management.
  • Implement Lean initiatives to reduce costs and meet savings targets.
  • Manage compliance and performance to mitigate risks.
Leadership and Strategic Planning
  • Own P&L and financial targets.
  • Lead people development and uphold the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
  • Ensure client impact and satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute operational plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Build positive relationships with third-party collaborators and clients' partners.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape business strategy, innovations, and delivery.
  • Develop thought leadership and market innovation, including measuring engagement success.
  • Refine client materials, including case studies and pricing structures.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for capability expansion and technological advancement.
  • Develop partnership and acquisition strategies to meet long-term goals.
  • Provide leadership to the extended team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $211,700 to $589,700 annually, depending on qualifications, location, and other factors. Additional incentives and benefits may apply.
