Job summary

The Bancorp Bank, N.A. is seeking a VP of Sourcing and Procurement for a hybrid role based in Wilmington, DE.

You will oversee sourcing strategy, vendor management, and procurement governance, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, and IT to drive cost savings and quality, while ensuring regulatory alignment. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years in sourcing/procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manages vendor relationships, specifically IT vendors, to ensure a quality and cost-effective IT purchasing function.
• Prepares strategic purchasing plans with business leaders and develops policies and procedures for procurement.
• Delivers executive summaries and presentations to senior leadership detailing cost, quality, and service delivery.
• Selects company product and service providers based on vendor analysis and interviews suppliers.
• Negotiates pricing to ensure products and services are purchased.
• Provides advice and guidance on purchasing and vendor assessment standards and processes.
• Monitors contract renewal, expiration, and pricing dates and manages contract repository.
• Leads the contract renewal and administrative processes and coordinates with internal partners.
• Leads the Request for Proposal and Request for Information from business lines.
• Monitors third party vendor performance against contractual requirements.
