We seek a strategic, accomplished Vice President of Global Sales to lead our Electronics Business Segment, valued at over $1.5 billion. This leadership role requires a results-driven executive with expertise in OEM sales, global market success—including experience in Asian markets—and a collaborative leadership style to foster transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  2. Achieving Revenue Goals: Lead the global sales team to surpass revenue and profit benchmarks; experience managing large technology portfolios (e.g., over $1 billion) is preferred.
  3. Industry Influence: Build a strong presence in the electronics sector through engagement with OEMs and manufacturer representatives.
  4. Sales Team Leadership: Build, develop, and motivate a high-performing global sales team.
  5. Channel Optimization: Maximize sales effectiveness through relationships with OEMs, distributors, and representatives.
  6. Forecasting and Analytics: Use sales data and market insights for strategic decision-making.
  7. Customer Relations: Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to execute strategies and launch initiatives.
  9. Industry Trends: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and market demands to influence business development.
Qualifications and Expertise
  1. Proven Sales Leadership: At least 15 years in senior sales roles, with 10+ years leading sales teams; VP of Sales experience preferred.
  2. Global Market Experience: Success in international markets, especially in Asia, with relevant living or working experience.
  3. Channel Expertise: Deep understanding of OEM and distribution sales channels.
  4. Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and adapt to market changes.
  5. Strategic Thinking: Ability to penetrate new markets and inspire teams.
  6. Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of P&L and profitability metrics.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  8. Education: Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related; MBA or equivalent is advantageous.
