Job summary

Dyne Therapeutics is seeking a Vice President, Procurement to design and lead the end-to-end sourcing function in Waltham, MA. You will maximize value from external spend and align source-to-pay strategies with regulatory requirements and business priorities.

You will drive strategic supplier partnerships, oversee complex negotiations, and develop scalable processes to support Dyne’s growth. This role offers leadership visibility through reporting and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
20+ years purchasing/procurement experience, with at least 8 in biotech/pharma.
Experience with ERP / MRP / procurement systems.
Global, matrix-managed environment experience.
Strong leadership and ability to drive high-dollar initiatives from inception to implementation.

Responsibilities

Establish and execute a long-term vision and roadmap for Procurement.
Design scalable end-to-end source-to-pay processes and governance.
Develop a fit-for-purpose operating model and staffing strategy.
Partner with IT to implement procurement systems integrated with enterprise platforms.
Lead complex negotiations and provide strategic guidance across functions.
Standardize supplier selection, onboarding, and performance management.
Drive CSR initiatives and ensure regulatory and policy alignment.
