Job summary

Goldman Sachs Global Compliance, including the BIG Americas team, seeks a qualified professional to conduct legal, regulatory and reputational due diligence across North, South and Central America. Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal/regulatory, accounting, compliance or other financial experience.
• Risk assessment skills with reputational, legal, regulatory, environmental and general compliance topics.
• Strong proficiency in online research and databases.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written).
• General experience with investment banking and lending transactions.
• ESG risk experience is a plus.
• Curiosity and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal, regulatory and financial due diligence to assess reputational risk in transactions and relationships.
• Analyze risk-relevant information from diverse sources including online media, filings and research reports.
• Coordinate with internal/external counsel and compliance/business teams on due diligence findings.
• Review independent due diligence reports for regulatory and compliance issues.
• Prepare summaries and presentation materials for business areas and committees.
• Develop regional expertise and manage ad hoc projects.
