Qualifications

The Vice President of Franchise Operations & Owner Relations leads a team of performance leads who serve as the liaison between Hyatt Hotels Corporation and our franchise owners & 3rd party management operators of our Essentials Portfolio of hotels for all performance needs related to these brands. Collaboration and coordination for internal colleagues (Development, Product & Brand Design, Marketing, Purchasing, IT, Finance, Legal, F & B, Brand Support, Facility Management, etc.) along with response and resolution to owner and management company needs so that they can efficiently and successfully operate their hotels. The role is responsible for leading the team that supports owners & oversees management companies are accountable for both market share and brand health performance.

  • Hold performance reviews with owners & operators to ensure accountability & understanding of Hyatt’s Core Metric performance expectations.
  • Engage owners & operators to provide feedback on how to optimize their hotel’s performance.
  • Enforce Hyatt’s accountability programs with their portfolio of owners & operators; Focused Improvement Policy (FIP), Brand Protection Program (BPP), Quality Assurance Audits (QA), & Hyatt’s renovation policy.
  • Strategically Support the Delivery of Brand Initiatives. Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders, develops a deep understanding of business strategies as well as key business processes and systems

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in same field, industry, or other equivalent business/ function role

Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office suite of products
