Job summary

Mezzetta seeks a strategic VP, BP&A to own long-range planning, enterprise financial modeling, and performance reporting. You will partner with the CFO and executive team to guide capital allocation, pricing, and growth opportunities across channels and markets.

You will build a high-performing FP&A organization, modernize planning tools, and connect day-to-day decisions to Mezzetta's growth goals, culture, and core ingredients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, with FP&A or strategic finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field.
• MBA, CPA, or similar credential a plus.
• Proven track record owning enterprise planning, forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, and executive-level reporting.
• Strong commercial finance instincts: pricing, margins, customer and channel profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-range planning, translating strategy into multi-year financial plans and resource priorities.
• Own the enterprise financial model as a living decision tool for growth, profitability, and capital allocation.
• Partner with CFO and Executive Team on strategic tradeoffs and investments.
• Partner with Marketing on long-range plan, stage gate models, and annual plan.
• Oversee company-wide planning rhythm: AOP, forecasting, monthly performance across P&L, cash flow and balance sheet.
• Drive driver-based planning, rolling forecasts, and enterprise KPI scorecard.
