Job summary

Keel is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead accounting operations, program finance, and internal controls from its Ladson, SC headquarters. You will partner with the CFO and executive team to drive long-term financial strategy and excellence across the enterprise.

The role oversees all financial shared services, provides insights through forecasting and analysis, and leads a team responsible for timely, GAAP-compliant reporting and compliance with FAR/DFARS and DCAA requirements.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership, including controller-level responsibilities.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, with government contracting exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, tax, program finance, and internal controls.
• Provide strategic financial direction to optimize performance and planning.
• Drive GAAP-compliant reporting, audits, and external communications.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering to support business decisions.
