Job summary

HRB in Washington, DC is seeking an analytical VP of Finance to lead debt capital markets execution and compliance. You will own diligence, documentation coordination, closing processes, covenant compliance, and lender reporting, reporting to the CFO/sponsor team.

The role requires 4+ years in debt markets, strong financial modeling, and experience with multi-facility debt stacks. Hybrid work is expected from Howard County HQ with 3 days on-site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in debt capital markets execution and compliance/diligence.
• BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Real estate industry experience preferred; exposure to private equity is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Run lender processes post-term sheet through closing: data room build-out, diligence responses, third-party report coordination, legal documentation coordination, closing checklists.
• Support term sheet negotiation with analysis: pricing comparisons, covenant sensitivity modeling, borrowing base scenarios, debt yield/DSCR tests.
• Own ongoing covenant compliance, lender reporting packages, borrowing base certificates, and draw/reallocation requests across multiple facilities.
• Serve as day-to-day lender point of contact; maintain relationships with lender portfolio teams and debt broker/placement agents.
• Manage the debt stack across facilities: plan migration from bridge to permanent facilities, coordinate collateral transfers, and refinancing windows.
• Execute debt workstreams for recapitalization: capital structure modeling, refinancing analysis, and process management under CFO/sponsor direction.
• Oversee FP&A: corporate model ownership, annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, and property-level NOI analysis across the portfolio.
• Prepare Board of Director materials, including quarterly board decks and sponsor reporting.
• Manage internal and external reporting cadence; support audit and GAAP reporting workstreams.
• Respond to ad hoc sponsor and investor requests with institutional-quality output and fast turnaround.
• Partner with the CFO on exit-readiness workstreams.
