Salt Creek Capital portfolio company is seeking a VP Finance/Controller to own the entire finance and accounting function, including reporting, budgeting, cash management, tax, audits, and internal controls. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• At least seven years of combined public accounting and private industry experience.
• Ten years of progressively responsible financial leadership.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Raleigh–Durham area.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Deliver timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements to the CEO and Board.
• Oversee AR, AP, cash management, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Own the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasting with detailed P&L analysis.
• Manage working capital and cash flow planning; monitor debt covenants and reporting.
• Coordinate audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Develop internal reporting systems and drive process improvements.
