Job summary

Midwest Compressor Systems is seeking a Vice President of Field Services to set the strategy, strengthen the leadership team and scale field operations as our fleet and customer base grows. This executive will lead through the Director of Field Services and create a consistent, high-performing service organization across multiple operating regions.

This hands-on executive role requires connecting strategy to execution, balancing safety, customer responsiveness, equipment reliability, workforce

Qualifications

• 10+ years in field service or industrial operations with leadership of dispersed teams
• Proven ownership of departmental financials and budgets
• Experience leading leaders via Director/Senior Management level
• Strong knowledge of field operations, equipment reliability and customer support
• Executive level communication and negotiating skills

Responsibilities

• Set and execute a multi-year Field Services strategy aligned with growth and priorities
• Lead and develop Field Services leadership across regions
• Own Field Services financial performance including budgets and capital planning
• Establish standards for installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and service documentation
• Sponsor strategic customers and manage complex escalations
• Advance safety, predictive maintenance and field service technology
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Operations on capacity and reliability
