Qualifications

• 15+ years in federal government affairs or healthcare policy.
• Experience working with Congress and federal agencies.
• Proven ability to lead policy strategy and advocacy.
• Experience managing external lobbying firms and coalitions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own a comprehensive federal government affairs strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead engagement with Congress to shape legislation impacting the pipeline and portfolio.
• Prepare policy briefing materials, white papers, and comment letters.
• Build relationships with Members of Congress, committees, and federal agencies.
• Lead coalition and alliance strategies on shared policy priorities.
• Oversee BioMarin PAC and compliance with reporting requirements.
