Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. seeks a high-profile Vice President, Facilities and Engineering to lead a cGMP manufacturing site. You will manage engineering, validation, maintenance, and CAPEX projects, driving reliability, safety, and quality.

Build an engaged, high-performing team and align with Quality, MS&T, and Finance across a matrixed organization. You will shape strategies, processes, and metrics to improve equipment availability, write risk assessments, and oversee regulatory readiness for

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, chemical, biomechanical).
15+ years engineering experience with 10+ years biotech and 5+ years management.
Expertise in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and GMP.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Ability to negotiate and resolve critical issues at executive level.
Broad understanding of codes and cGMP regulations.

Responsibilities

Directs engineering, validation, capital projects, and maintenance activities for the site.
Oversee maintenance and repair of facilities, utilities, and equipment.
Lead improvements to reduce failures and errors.
Represent Facilities & Engineering during audits and regulatory inspections.
Ensure procedures and systems are compliant and controlled.
Develop metrics and reporting for facility and maintenance effectiveness.
Lead, coach, and develop staff and manage performance.
