Provides executive leadership to Humana.

The Vice President, Enterprise Transformation Portfolio will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and delivery execution of our enterprise-wide transformation portfolio. This leader will manage a team oftransformation portfolio and solutionleaders who oversee key strategic priority pillarsof transformationincluding areas such as Medicare Advantage and Medicaid member growth, cost reduction indicatives and patient and provide engagement.

Portfolio Leadership & Execution:

  • Lead the enterprise transformation portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment with corporate goals and measurable business impact.
  • Oversee a team of portfolio leaders, each managing critical transformation workstreams, ensuring execution excellence and value realization across multiple programs.
  • Partner with executive leadership, including the CEO, CFO, CHRO, CIO, and business unit leaders, to drive transformation priorities and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure key transformation milestones, financial targets, and performance metrics are met across all pillars of the transformation.
  • Continuously assess portfolio health, risk, and interdependencies, making data-driven decisions to optimize execution.

Governance & Strategic Alignment:

  • Establish and maintain a robust transformation governance framework, ensuring disciplined execution and accountability across the portfolio.
  • Partner with Finance and Business Units to ensure alignment of investments, benefits realization, and value capture.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, translating complex transformation initiatives into clear, actionable insights.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and executive reporting, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and course corrections.
  • Manage and align Transformation Office internal consulting resources to transformation initiatives.

Change Management & Organizational Readiness:

  • Champion a culture of transformation, embedding change agility and innovation across the enterprise.
  • Drive adoption, ensuring the organization is equipped to sustain transformation outcomes.
  • Partner with HR, Communications, and Change Management teams to drive employee engagement and alignment with portfolio implementations

Financial & Business Impact Management:

  • Ensure the financial performance of the portfolio, partnering with FP&A and Value team, to track and achieve plannedROI.
  • Identify cost optimization and revenue growth opportunities through transformation initiatives to ensure portfolio return is maximized.
  • Drive disciplined portfolio prioritization, ensuring the right investments are made at the right time.

Qualifications & Experience Preferred:

  • 10+ years of experience in leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs, preferably in healthcare, technology, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Proven track record managing portfolios with complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Expertise in driving transformational agenda, pipeline development and mobilization.
  • Deep expertise in portfolio management, program execution, and financial business case development and governance.
  • Strong leadership experience in managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent executive presence with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire C-suite leaders and board members.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, with expertise in enterprise performance tracking, risk management, and benefits realization.
  • Experience with digital transformation, AI, automation, and operational modernization is highly desirable.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
