Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Senior Vice President of Certificate and PKI Technologies in Jersey City, NJ. You will lead global strategy, engineering, deployment, and operations of enterprise PKI, cryptography, and certificate lifecycle management.

You will manage a high-performing security engineering team to deliver robust, compliant trust services across multi-cloud, on-premises, and IoT environments, aligning with NIST, CA/Browser Forum, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with 8+ years in PKI, cryptography and data protection leadership
• Deep understanding of asymmetric/symmetric cryptography, TLS/SSL, SSH key management, code signing, and HSM management
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Cybersecurity/Cryptography or related field
• CISSP, CISM or cryptographic credentials preferred

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global PKI strategy and roadmap for cryptographic services
• Oversee design/operations of internal/external CAs, RAs, HSMs, and KMS
• Drive automation for certificate lifecycle management (ACME/EST/SCEP) to prevent outages
• Ensure compliance with WebTrust, SOC2, ISO 27001; establish CP/CPS
• Be the escalation point for cryptographic vulnerabilities and outages
• Represent the organization with external vendors and industry groups
