Job summary

St. Paul’s Senior Services seeks an executive leader to head Corporate Compliance & Risk Management, guiding enterprise-wide compliance across senior housing, skilled nursing, and community services in San Diego.

This role partners with senior leaders and boards to ensure regulatory excellence, risk mitigation, and ethical governance, while shaping education and change management across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, law, or related field required.
• Master’s degree, Juris Doctor, or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise compliance strategy and design a comprehensive program.
• Establish governance frameworks, standards, policies, and performance metrics across all service lines and locations.
• Lead enterprise risk management initiatives, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting of risks.
• Partner with insurance, safety, clinical, operational, and legal stakeholders to manage organizational risk exposure and support proactive risk reduction.
• Provide executive oversight of regulatory change management and ensure readiness for emerging requirements.
• Direct enterprise guidance and responses to regulatory surveys, audits, investigations, and enforcement actions.
• Maintain accountability for enterprise compliance risk management processes, including risk assessments and monitoring.
• Provide strategic leadership to division compliance leaders and foster alignment across a multi-entity organization.
• Champion a culture of ethics, integrity, and accountability throughout the organization.
