Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Energy Policy Vice President within Corporate Sustainability to translate energy market signals and policy developments into commercial insights for the firm and clients.

You will deliver market and policy analysis, advise leadership, and support external engagement at the intersection of energy, finance, and policy.

The role requires experience in energy policy at federal/state level, strong research and communication skills, and the ability to lead multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of energy policy experience at federal or state level.
• Strong analytical and research skills; understands energy markets and policy trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate federal and state energy policy proposals and translate them into commercial implications for priority technologies and markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop policy positions and engagement strategies.
• Design external partnerships, grants, and events to support energy policy goals; represent the firm with thought partners and industry coalitions.
• Oversee planning and execution of key projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
• Prepare reports, slide decks, presentations, and communications materials to convey strategy, market and regulatory/policy analysis, and project updates to internal and external audiences.
